It's a new year, another chance to get my life in order. Dh (darling husband) is currently laid off from work, and while I lovehaving this extra time with him, and for him to have this time with the kids, it's a stressful time for our family. We are making the most of it, work it giving me a few extra hours, but I can't help but feel stressed about it.
I have been very busy with all things craft these past couple weeks. I have had a few customs to do and I stocked both my Hyena Cart and at the Congo. This week I sold a pair of longies I made for Hayden, and the person who bought them askedfor me to knit them a second pair. I do not think I am even close to being able to knit for other people, nor do I really want to, but I did for this person. I knit her a pair of longies and a matching hat. I really should have charged her more for my time, but I don't feel my work is worth much because there are flaws.
Poor Elijah is sick, he had one week back in school and he must have picked up something. He is just coughing during the day, but is running a fever overnight and is having trouble sleeping. We are letting him sleep with us, we always like the kids in with us when they are sick, I am so worried about one of them choking if they were to have an upset stomach. So needless so say, dh and I have not slept well. Hopefull he is feeling better in the morning, he needs to return to school.
